How to use the Basic Connecting Beat
To use the Basic Connecting Beat, we have to go over some of
the mrdanga mantras you already practiced.
Let's go back to our "Basic Kirtan Beat" discussed in
Lesson 3. Here is the mantra for that beat:

ta ki ta ge Dha - -
When we want to use the Basic Connecting Beat with the Basic
Kirtan Beat we begin by substituting the last note "Dha"
with the first "ki" of the connecting beat.
